Four-time Pro Bowler Ed Reed pulled in the 36th and 37th INTs of his career in the Week 12 win over Philadelphia. The picks (returned a total of 150 yards) included his 107-yarder, which is the longest in NFL history. Without question, Reed is the general of Baltimore’s secondary and a key component of the NFL’s No. 2-overall defense.

“[I] loved watching Ravens safety Ed Reed with the ball in his hands. Is there anyone more exciting after an interception? Having 106- and 108-yard interception returns for touchdowns, the latter coming against the Eagles, is jaw-dropping.”
–Yahoo!Sports.com NFL writer Charles Robinson following Week 12’s win over Philadelphia
"Ed Reed is an awesome football player. To me, he's one of the best football players in the league. I think that probably Ed Reed by himself back there can control the deep part of the field better than any two guys can, because the other guy isn't as good as Ed Reed, no matter who it is. So whichever side he's on, whoever the other guy is doesn't have the same kind of skill that Ed Reed has. To me, when he's in the deep part of the field, it's hard to throw in the deep part of the field with him being back there, and then that allows them to do whatever they want with the other 10 guys."
– Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick
“Ed is one of those players on defense that, offensively, you have to know where he is on the field. His athletic ability separates him from the rest and his never-quit attitude is the reason he’s a consistent Pro Bowl player and one of the top safeties in the league.”
– Colts QB Peyton Manning
"He has such tremendous range back there. He gets his hands on a lot of footballs. He closes so well and the guy's getting there usually in a bad mood. We have to be careful with him."
– Dolphins Head Coach Tony Sparano
"He’s a ballhawk. He studies film and takes chances. He is the best at what he does. It’s a battle between him and the quarterback. You have to bring your ‘A’ game against him.''
– Browns TE Kellen Winslow
